Healthcare Projects
How we bring Healing
Eye Care
Cataracts account for approximately half the blindness in Africa. We fly a dedicated group of volunteer ophthalmologists and nurses to perform free cataract surgeries, and optometrists to assess patients and prescribe glasses.
Dental Care
Many children in rural communities do not know about oral hygiene. By collaborating with the Department of Health and dentists from Johannesburg and Pretoria we see several schools per year to educate children on dental hygiene, conduct extractions, and examine problem areas.
Disability Care
The lack of specialist disability services in rural communities has left many disabled people without treatment or a good quality of life. We fly in specialists to train the local carers of the disability center.
Cancer Awareness
Early detection saves lives. Many of the clinics and traditional healers know very little about cancer and how to identify its early stages. We fly medical personnel to educate and screen the community on the subject of cancer.

Education & Skills Development Projects
How we bring Hope & Help
Education Projects
Many children in rural villages do not have access to quality education and, as a result, literacy levels are significantly low. We partner with education specialists to bring alternative and tested education programs to these schools.
Skills Development
One of Flying for Life's biggest values is supporting sustainable development to empower those who are need. We fly skilled businessmen and women, including entrepreneurs, to share their skills and knowledge within the community.
Future Projects
We are always increasing the sustainability of our existing projects, and only embark on new projects when the community is invested and involved.
Our Charity Shop
